Patna: Bihar's political stir has risen after the arrest of JN Adhikar Party (JAP) supremo Pappu Yadav. There is a demand for the release of the former MP. The situation is that just a few hours after the arrest, #releasepappuyadav is trending on Twitter. Amidst the same uproar, former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi has supported Pappu Yadav. He tweeted without naming anyone.

Manjhi tweeted on Tuesday from his official Twitter handle that "Such an incident is dangerous for humanity if a public representative serves the people day and night and is arrested in return. No action should be taken only if such cases are judicially investigated first"  On the other hand, leader and spokesperson Danish Rizwan has reiterated Manjhi's words in his response to the entire matter.

On Tuesday morning, police from Budha Colony police station reached former MP Pappu Yadav's house in Patna's northern temple and warned him not to violate lockdown rules. But after receiving information from the supporters that the police had reached Pappu Yadav's residence, the police arrested the JAP supremo and took him to Gandhi Maidan police station.
