On Friday, the Delhi Police held a press conference on JNU uproar and accused many students including JNSU Student Union President Aishi Ghosh only for making a mistake.  On the matter of showing evidence of Delhi Police regarding this case, Aishi said that he also has evidence. He said, 'In a way, we are trying to accuse ourselves. There is no suspect in speaking of the police. They should also have proof. Ishii further said, 'If they have any such evidence, where I am seen with sticks or rod, then show them. The police stood as mute spectators during the attack. He said that he neither trusts the proctor nor the vice chancellor.

For your information, let us tell you that the members of the JNU Students Union met Amit Khare, Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development on Friday. JNU Students Union President Aishi Ghosh said that he has expressed confidence that he will intervene positively in this matter and will issue circular soon. The student union president also demanded the immediate removal of JNU VC. He said that he could not run the university, so he should be removed from the post. We need a VC who can bring peace to the campus. Aishi Ghosh claimed that he or his comrades had done nothing wrong. We Delhi Police are not afraid and we will carry forward our movement in a democratic manner.
