Lucknow: Kafeel Khan, an accused in the case of the death of children due to the shortage of oxygen at Gorakhpur Medical College, has appealed to the supporters for financial assistance. Kafeel Khan said that he is entering the electoral fray by making a new beginning in his life. In such a situation, they need help. In fact, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has fielded Kafeel Khan as its MLC candidate from Deoria-Kushinagar. 

 

 

Kafeel Khan said in a tweet, "Life has made a new beginning. I'm fighting the election. I've been fired from my job. Some help is needed." Not only this, but Kafeel Khan has also released some numbers. Which can be helped by sending money. Kafeel Khan wrote that with all of you need more well wishes. In fact, MLC elections are being held in 36 seats of Uttar Pradesh. These seats will go to the polls on April 9, while the results will be out on April 11. However, in some seats, BJP candidates have won unopposed.

About 5 years ago, 60 children lost their lives due to a lack of oxygen in BRD Hospital in Gorakhpur. Dr Kafeel Khan was suspended in this case. A committee was then formed to look into the allegations against him. Following the report of the committee, the medical education department took action and sacked Dr Kafeel Khan. Kafeel Khan has challenged in the Lucknow High Court the case of his dismissal from the job by the Uttar Pradesh government.
