New Delhi: JP Nadda, the chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will begin a two-day visit to Himachal Pradesh and Punjab on Friday.
During his visit, he will participate in a number of public and organisational events. This will be Nadda's third trip to Himachal Pradesh in less than a month.
Nadda will speak at the inauguration of the BJP Yuva Morcha's national training session in Dharamshala on Friday morning. Nadda will hold a roadshow in Kullu later in the day and address a public rally in Dhalpur Maidan. Nadda will attend multiple meetings in Kullu on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning, Nadda would arrive in Punjab's Ludhiana. He will pay a visit to independence warrior Sukhdev Thapar's home.
For the upcoming state legislative council elections, the BJP president would meet with party office-bearers, core group members, morcha chiefs, district in-charges, and party candidates. Nadda will meet with industrialists in Ludhiana on Friday afternoon. He will also speak at a Karyakarta Sammelen in Chandigarh's Glada Ground.
Notably, Himachal Pradesh will hold assembly elections later this year.
