New Delhi: The court on Saturday reserved the decision on the reconsideration petition seeking a CBI probe against PM Modi. After disciplinary action, the dismissed  Defense Ministry's officer KN Manjunath has demanded a CBI inquiry, accusing him of not taking action against corruption. The demand for this former officer was rejected by the magistrate court in July 2017. The court had said that this complaint is not for hearing, as PM has not been accused of corruption.

The PM is accused only of not taking action against corruption. In view of this allegation, it not a case against PM under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The complainant officer, in this case, was also not relieved by the Central Administrative Arbitration (CAT). Kat instructed the director of AIIMS to investigate her mental condition.

The complainant alleged that PM Modi and concerned official aware of the corrupt activities going on in the Ministry of Defense and Air Force Headquarters. No action was taken on that complaint. Therefore, a CBI inquiry should be conducted against PM Modi as to why he did not take any action. He did not take any action despite the matter being in cognizance.
