Chhindwara: Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath expressed his frustration over the continuous defection of Congress leaders to the BJP in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. He accused the ruling BJP of using money and power to intimidate Congress leaders, turning the sacred land into a battleground.

Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath issued a statement asserting his 45-year dedication to developing Chhindwara, calling it a land of work and penance for him. He condemned the BJP's alleged misuse of resources and threats against leaders.

Kamal Nath emphasized the people's determination to respond firmly to BJP's actions, highlighting Chhindwara's history of rejecting dishonest politics during elections.

Addressing the youth in a public meeting in village Turkikhapa of Sausar assembly, Kamal Nath reminded them of Chhindwara's development journey over the last 45 years and stressed the importance of securing the future for today's generation.

BJP's special strategy for Chhindwara aims to overcome the challenge it poses to achieving a clean sweep of all 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. This includes attracting disgruntled leaders and workers from Chhindwara to weaken Congress on its home turf.

Regarding the upcoming elections, Kamal Nath's son, Nakul Nath, is contesting for the Chhindwara parliamentary constituency on a Congress ticket, while BJP has nominated Vivek Bunty Sahu as its candidate.
