Kamran Akmal and Gautam Gambhir clashed in the India-Pakistan match during the 2010 Asia Cup played in Sri Lanka. Both teams play against each other on the field with considerable aggression.'

Kamran Akmal has played 53 Test matches for Pakistan team. In which he has scored 2648 runs at an average of 30.79. He has scored 3236 runs for Pakistan team in 157 ODIs at an average of 26.09. Akmal has also played 58 T20 Internationals for Pakistan. In which he has scored 987 runs at an average of 21 and a strike rate of 119.63. He is running in very good form in domestic cricket and is scoring continuously.
