Lucknow:In Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, 14 cases of Zika virus have been found simultaneously. It is being reported that these patients of Zika virus include a pregnant woman. There are now 25 zika virus patients in the city. On the other hand, the district collector has convened a meeting of health department officials including cmo after receiving so many cases simultaneously.

Tell us that the cases of Zika virus in Kanpur are increasing rapidly. Earlier on November 1, 6 cases were registered here. The cases were reported in Chakeri area of Kanpur. Out of these 6 patients, four women have been victims of Zika. Tell us that Zika is a mosquito-borne virus caused by the bite of a mosquito called Aedes Aegypti. According to WHO, Aedes mosquitoes usually bite during the day. It is the same mosquito essays dengue, chikungunya. Although zika virus infection is not a serious problem for most people, it can be dangerous for pregnant women, especially for the fetus.
