On Friday, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa was seen in the function mode. He has issued a new statement regarding cabinet expansion. In which he said that the much-awaited expansion of his cabinet will be done in three-four days. On his arrival here from Davos after attending a meeting of the World Economic Forum, he reiterated that he would disqualify the JD (S) -Congress and fulfill his promise to make MLAs re-elected MLAs on BJP tickets in the by-elections. But, made it clear that the losers will not be included in the cabinet.

In his statement Yeddyurappa said that I had discussed with him (Union Home Minister Amit Shah) during his recent visit to the state. The cabinet will be expanded in three-four days. This month will be 100 percent. He told reporters that he had no need to go to Delhi as he had discussed with Shah and agreed to it.

Apart from this, he further said that when asked about how many MLAs who won the by-elections will be made ministers, Yeddyurappa said that you will come to know about this when the cabinet is expanded. Wait till then At present, there are 18 ministers in the state including the Chief Minister. There can be a maximum of 34 ministers.
