Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M. Karunanidhi have been admitted to ICU in Kaveri Hospital in Chennai. His blood pressure was brought to the hospital on Friday night after the fall in blood pressure.
After getting the information about hospitalization, a large number of his supporters have gathered outside his home and hospital. Tension can be seen on the faces of supporters. At the same time, his son and party's executive president MK Stalin has also reached the hospital. Apart from this, the Governor of Tamil Nadu Banwarilal Purohit also visited Kaveri Hospital to know the movement of Karunanidhi.
Karunanidhi's condition is currently being told to be stable. A health bulletin has been issued by the hospital, which states that the blood pressure of Karunanidhi has been stabilized. They are being monitored and treated by a panel of specialist doctors.
94-year-old M. Karunanidhi is suffering from urinary tract infection. He was undergoing treatment only at home. But on Friday late night, there was a sudden decline in blood pressure, after which they had to be admitted him to the hospital. From Thursday onwards, politicians have begun to visit Karunanidhi. Because of this, the security of his home and hospital has been increased.
