Dehradun: Due to Coronavirus, the period of lockdown across the country has been extended till May 3. Due to this fast spreading epidemic, the Char Dham Yatra has also started facing trouble. According to the sources, the doors of the temples can be opened at a fixed time in the auspicious time during lockdown. But when the devotees can see God, nothing can be said about it.
According to the information given by Uttarakhand's Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, this time the challenge is to fight the Corona in front of the Central and State Government. Now any decision regarding the Char Dham Yatra will be taken keeping in mind the instructions of the Modi Government of the Center. All boundaries of the state and districts are also closed due to corona infection.
They have told that the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham are going to open from 26-27 April. While on April 29-30, the doors of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham will be opened. Every year a group of devotees visit the Char Dham to visit here. According to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), social distancing is currently the only way to avoid corona infection. The government will never want to take the risk of giving permission to the pilgrims to Char Dham Yatra.
