New Delhi: The war continues in the country against the coronavirus epidemic spread across the world from Wuhan city of China. Under this, PM Narendra Modi has announced to increase the lockdown on Tuesday, now the lockdown will continue in the country till May 3. After this announcement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted that the decision was a demand for time, and also assured that there is enough stock of food and medicine in the country.

On the other hand, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also supported the increase of lockdown. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday wrote in several tweets that, 'Today, while the whole world is facing a global epidemic, the people of India, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, have presented an example in fighting it. All the decisions taken by the government on time and the participation of the people in it are reflective of it.

Amit Shah further wrote that 'Today, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to eliminate it, the decision to extend the lockdown across the country by May 3 is a decision taken for the life and protection of India and Indians. For this I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister.
