New Delhi: Another problem of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi is increasing. Arvind Kejriwal has suffered a major setback from his own government. The Delhi government's Directorate of Information and Publicity Secretary has also issued a recovery notice of about Rs 164 crore to Arvind Kejriwal, which has been asked to be submitted within 10 days. In fact, a recovery notice of a total of Rs 163.62 crore has also been issued to the Aam Aadmi Party for allegedly publishing its political advertisements under the guise of government advertisements.

Reports say that Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has also issued instructions to the Chief Secretary to collect Rs 97 crore from the Aam Aadmi Party for political advertisements published under the guise of government advertisements, a month after which this outcome is being seen. Following the LG's direction, the Delhi government's Directorate of Information and Publicity has also submitted this notice.

Sources have said that the recovery notice issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP) includes interest on the amount and it has become mandatory for the ruling AAP in Delhi to pay the entire amount within 10 days. In this regard, the news says, 'If the Aam Aadmi Party convener fails to do so, all legal action will be taken in a time-bound manner, including attachment of the party's properties, as per the previous order of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.'
