New Delhi: On the lines of the Modi government at the Centre, Delhi CM and AAP President Arvind Kejriwal also want corrupt officials to retire forcibly. Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia held a meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on the issue. On the other hand, Chief Minister Kejriwal also discussed the matter with the Chief Secretary of Delhi on Saturday.

Chief Minister Kejriwal has directed all Cabinet members to prepare a list of officers and employees in their respective departments so that they can be forcibly retired. This will be in accordance with the Central Government's initiative to retire such officers and employees under the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972's Fundamental Rule 56 (J).
