tyle="text-align: justify;">The Jan Sikshan Sansthan (JSS), an NGO based in state's Malappuram is all set to receive the prestigious UNESCO Confucius Prize for Literacy for its literacy-linked skill development activities.

JSS Malappuram chairman, Rajya Sabha member PV Abdul Wahab and the unit's director V Ummerkoya will receive the award at the ceremony which will be held in Paris. The ceremony wihich will also mark the 50th anniversary celebrations of UNESCO's literacy programmes, is going to be attended by Education Ministers of the member states.

A panel discussion in which the world leaders will consult about the inter-relations between literacy and other sustainable development goals will also be held
