In Kerala, two political killings have heated up the atmosphere. In fact, the killing of two leaders within 12 hours has created tension in the Alappuzha district. The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Srinivasan who was secretary of BJP OBC Morcha in the case. According to reports, some people entered his house early in the morning and killed him.

Earlier last Saturday night, Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leader KS Shan was killed. Meanwhile, the party had accused the RSS of murder. It is now believed that the BJP leader has been killed in retaliation to SDPI leader KS Shan. After the killing of two leaders within about 12 hours, the Collector has imposed Section 144 in Alappuzha for two days. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, on the other hand, condemned the killing of the two leaders in Alappuzha.

He says the police will take strict action against the attackers. At the same time, CM said that such incidents should not happen. Let me tell all of you that after the attack on the Social Democratic Party of India Secretary KS Shan in Kerala, he was admitted to a hospital in Alappuzha and then referred to Kochi where he died. KS Shan was said to have been attacked by an unidentified gang after which he died. On the other hand, after the killing of the SDPI leader, party president MK Faizi alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was involved in the case.
