Kerala's Cochin International Airport wins global award for the fifth time

Kochi: Kerala's Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has received a Global Award for Better Service. Airport Council International (ACI) Director General Luis Felipe de Olivera said in a press release that CIAL has won ASQ awards continuously for five years for quality service for the last 10 years.

He said Cochin International Airport has consistently improved customer service. It is among the 6 airports in the world that will receive the award this year. ACI, a global body of airport operators, recognizes the Roll of Excellence for airports that have provided good service according to passengers. CISL Managing Director S Suhas said the service quality programme of ACI is helping airport authorities maintain the international standard sans airport management.

The Role of Excellence honour is certainly a show of CIAL's commitment to passengers. We are grateful for this honour and it will further enhance our efforts to facilitate the best-in-class travel experiences for passengers, he added. We have won five consecutive ASQ awards in the last five years. Suhas said the government's support for us during this time is tremendous. The award will be presented during the ACI Customer Experience Global Summit to be held in Montreal, Canada on September 9, 2021.
