Kozhikode: The suspect in the Kerala train attack case, who was arrested by the Maharashtra ATS from Raratnigiri, was today, April 6 brought to the Armed Reserve Camp police station in Maloorkunnu, Kozhikode, officials said.

Based on information from an eyewitness and a sketch released by the Kerala Police, the arrest was made. According to Maharashtra Police, the culprit has admitted to the crime. Saifi, 27, resides in Jamia Nagar's Shaheen Bagh in Delhi. According to Delhi Police, a team from Kerala Police arrived in Delhi on Wednesday and paid a visit to Saifi's house in the Shaheen Bagh neighbourhood.

Anil Kant, the DGP for Kerala, told reporters in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday that the suspect had been arrested and that additional information will come to light following a thorough interrogation of him.
