In the finale weekend of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, Rahul Vaidya, in a stunt, had to cross a pole and collect two flags on it. On reaching the pole platform, he had to jump to catch the third flag and complete the task. However, Rahul cited his back problems to leave the task. Rohit told him that his back would not be affected. Rahul decided to give it a try. However, as he sat down with the harness on his back, he felt his back stretched. They did not take the task forward, which disappointed everyone.

Shweta too had to go through a maze of pillars and wires, collect all the keys and then open the lock. She got scared after Arjun Bijlani and Divyanka Tripathi did the task. He decided not to pursue it. Divyanka convinced him to do so. Shweta started it but left it midway.

Later, Rohit got angry when Rahul and Shweta left the task in the middle. He told them, "No one has canceled the finale task before you." He said, "Rahul and Shweta, you both have taken rest, especially Rahul. You could have done it. I didn't like your attitude of aborting the task." He continued, "But you both had no guilt and you guys didn't apologize. The seriousness of the show is going into the finale. If they were a finale stunt for the trophy, you would do it because you both have the potential." Both of them sincerely apologized for their mistake and then went for elimination.
