Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary were recently blessed with a second baby girl on Friday. The duo announced the same with an adorable post on Instagram that read, "It's a Girl". Debina welcomed the second baby just seven months after her first delivery. In a recent interview, the actress opens up on society's reaction when a women gain weight. The actress called it hurtful.

Debina speaking about this reaction said, “Khush khabri kab de rahi ho(where is the good news)?--Does that only factor that make you happy? Otherwise, I as a person cannot make you happy? These kinds of phrases were very hurtful. May be it was out of happiness coming from somewhere but to a person who is trying and yet not happening, it is very hurtful.”

She further added, “Since I was going through my treatment and I was going through my IVF cycle with injections of a lot of hormones inside the body, I had put on weight, a little bit. Maybe around my stomach or I had worn a tighter outfit where my belly was showing, uspe likha ‘is she pregnant?’ I saw one video. I couldn’t understand what should be my reaction to it. People would see me in the hospital and tell others ‘ya, she is expecting and she’s hiding’. How do I tell them I am not? And I am trying, so it is not the time to ask. I felt very concerned and devastated and in my space, I was just alone.” 

Sharing a photo in a black and white picture they wrote, “It's a Girl" written in pink colour. Sharing the post on social media handle, Gurmeet wrote, “Welcome our baby girl into the world. As ecstatic as we are becoming parents again, we appreciate some privacy at this time as our baby has come into the world sooner than due. Keep blessing and showering your continued love (pink and hand-folded emojis). ”

Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary had announced the birth of their first daughter Lianna in April 2022. Just fouth months after that, they announced their second pregnancy with an adorable photo. Debina and Gurmeet got married in 2011 after dating for a while. The duo met on the set of their popular show Ramayan and fell in love.
