Kolkata:  The judge has decided in favour of BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari (Suvendu Adhikari) in West Bengal. On Wednesday, a division bench of the Calcutta High Court confirmed the single bench's judgement in three cases, including the killing of the bodyguard. The judge said unequivocally that no punitive action against the Suvendu officer will be taken. The court must first disclose the information if a new FIR is filed. Simultaneously, the Suvendu officer will be required to assist with the inquiry.

The division bench stated that the single bench ruling will apply to Suvendu in three cases: the death of a bodyguard in Kanthi, a procession in Nandigram, and the arrest of a security officer in Tamluk. The issue will no longer be heard by the bench. The single bench order said that no strict punishment will be taken against them. This directive is in effect right now. The order was issued by a court led by Justice Subrata Talukdar.

Suvendu Adhikari is accused of encouraging his security guard to commit suicide in this case. Since Suvendu Adhikari was a Trinamool Congress MP, Shubhbrata Chakraborty has been a member of the BJP MLA's security team (TMC). In July of this year, a four-member CID squad raided the Suvendu officer's home in East Midnapore as part of the inquiry into the matter. CID officials had reportedly reached Nandigram MLA Suvendu Adhikari's house after questioning and collecting information from former colleagues of Shubhbrata Chakraborty.
