Kriti has given a verbal nod to the movie but is yet to sign on the dotted line. Earlier in 2017, it was published that Kriti Sanon and Aditya Roy Kapur may star in a movie produced by Vashu Bhagnani. However, the project did not materialize and was put on hold.
However, according to a leading daily, we may instead see the fresh pair in Mohit Suri's next which will be an edgy romantic thriller. Aditya met up with good friend Mohit a couple of times for the movie and wanted to try something new. Kriti, too, had many meetings with Mohit and gave her verbal nod to the movie. The actor is yet to give her dates and sign on the dotted line. Kriti is currently shooting for Dinesh Vijan's Arjun Patiala (paired opposite Diljit Dosanjh for the first time) and will give her dates for Mohit's movie once she is back from Chandigarh. Mohit's movie will roll out in the next few months.
