The Government of India is taking all possible actions to end terrorism. Under which a terrorist was killed last Thursday night. This encounter of terrorists and security forces took place in the Malabag area of Srinagar. During this time a CRPF jawan was martyred and a jawan was injured. Confirming the encounter in the area behind Kashmir University, IG Vijay Kumar said that one or two accomplices of the terrorist may be hiding around. Their escape routes have been closed and the search operation is going on.

The officials said that this situation took place during the regular patrolling. Because when the officers were patrolling in Malabag around 10:15 pm on Thursday night. Then the team noticed suspicious activities close to a school. After which the soldiers started moving towards that, the terrorists hiding there opened fire on them. Two CRPF personnel were injured in this. Removing the injured soldiers from there, other soldiers surrounded the whole area and started counter-firing on the terrorists.

Additional soldiers reached the spot to help the security forces from the surrounding camps. The firing stopped for some time at past eleven, but after a gap of 10 minutes, firing started again. Officials present at the encounter site said that two soldiers were injured. They were rushed to the hospital, where Kuldeep Uruvan, a resident of Sahibganj in Jharkhand, was martyred. Kuldeep is a member of the Quick Action Team of CRPF. A local terrorist has also been killed in the encounter.
