Kullu: In Himachal Pradesh, the corona period is being very strict. Now, in the meantime, the International Dussehra Festival has been asked to perform the Rath Yatra traditions of Lord Raghunath with only 7 major deities. There has been a meeting on Dussehra Festival recently. The meeting was held with the Kardars under the chairmanship of Cabinet minister and chairman Dussehra Utsav Samiti Govind Singh Thakur. A collective decision has been taken during this.

All the Kardars have agreed to the decision. A review meeting was held with all the administrative officers in the auditorium of Devsadan in Kullu on the preparations for Dussehra Festival, in which cabinet minister Govind Singh Thakur gave proper directions to the administrative authorities. During the meeting, Cabinet Minister and Chairman Dussehra Utsav Samiti Govind Singh Thakur said, "This time's Dussehra festival is being performed in a fine manner in different circumstances due to the infection of corona epidemic". In addition, he also said, "there will be a limited number of rath yatras in terms of fear of Covid-19 and all those who join the Yatra will have corona tests."

The Dussehra Utsav Committee will not give a formal invitation to any deities this time. Nor will the sight be given. It is also being said that the tradition of Lord Raghunath will be played in accordance with what has been decided by the chief of Lord Raghunath, Maheshwar Singh. This time the deity will have only 10 people at night and the social distance will also be fully adhered to. In this regard, he also said that all preparations have been completed on behalf of the Government administration.
