The dates for the first two rounds of the Spanish League La Liga have been announced. Barcelona's team will start their title-saving campaign on 13 June against the out-of-home match against Real Majorca. The league was postponed in March due to the Kovid-19 pandemic and is going to start again from June 11. Sevilla will face Real Betis in the first match on 11 June after the league is restored.

Earlier, La Liga president Xavier Tebas had said that matches would be played on each day until the season in Spain was completed by 19 July, but the organizers had only set dates for the first two rounds of matches. Barcelona's team is currently on top in the table with 27 matches 58 points. Real Madrid's team is second with 56 points and Sevilla is in the top three with 47 points.
