Lucknow: 'Kisan Protesters' attack BJP workers in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. 8 people have lost their lives in the incident. CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over this and termed it unfortunate. The administration said that the situation is currently under control. The Government has sent Additional Chief Secretary (Personnel and Agriculture), Commissioner, ADG (Law and Order), Lucknow and IG to camp at the spot. The government has urged people to stay at home and not be misled by anyone. Seeking the contribution of the people in maintaining peace on the spot, it has been instructed not to come to any conclusion before the inquiry.

The so-called 'farmers' say that the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra forcibly mounted a car on the 'agitators' and trampled them.
