Lucknow: 'Kisan Protesters' attack BJP workers in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. 8 people have lost their lives in the incident. CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over this and termed it unfortunate. He said, the government will go into it and investigate it and expose the elements involved and strict action will be taken against the culprits. Several senior officers are posted on the spot.

 

The administration said that the situation is currently under control. The Government has sent Additional Chief Secretary (Personnel and Agriculture), Commissioner, ADG (Law and Order), Lucknow and IG to camp at the spot. The government has urged people to stay at home and not be misled by anyone. Seeking the contribution of the people in maintaining peace on the spot, it has been instructed not to come to any conclusion before the inquiry.

 

Meanwhile, some disturbing videos have also surfaced from Lakhimpur Kheri in which some protesters are seen assaulting them. These 'farmer protesters' are beating people with sticks. The so-called 'farmers' say that the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra forcibly mounted a car on the 'agitators' and trampled them. However, it is not yet clear what is the status of the person being beaten up in the video.

 

Another video has also surfaced from Lakhimpur showing 'kisan protesters' shouting slogans and shouting slogans for violence against those they consider to be BJP workers. They are constantly shouting for violence. In another video, a 'protester' is asking his partner to turn over the car of BJP workers. Meanwhile, protesters are also shouting dirty abuses. After the video went viral, people on social media are questioning 'Are these farmers' and 'Are farmers like this'?
