The sales report for the month of June has been released by Tata Motors. Tata Motors has registered a 5 percent decline in its global retail data, including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) sales in June 2019, with 95,503 units sold during the period. According to media reports, 43,204 units were sold at Jaguar Land Rover's Global Holsell in the same month. Jaguar sold 12,839 units in the month, while Land Rover sold 30,365 units. JLR's numbers in June 2019 also include The Chery JLR (CJLR) China Joint Venture Volume, which sold 6,809 units in China.

If Tata Motors India's business compares with 13,351 units in the domestic market in June 2019, passenger vehicle sales declined by 27 per cent compared to 18,213 units sold in the same period last year. Cumulative sales in the domestic market for the Period April 2019 to June 2019 were 36,945 units, which is 30 percent lower than the units sold in the same period last year. The lack of customer sentiment and liquidity in the Indian auto market has affected sales, with Tata Motor's business also facing challenges. However, the company expects sales to rise in the coming quarter.
