Lucknow: The body of the rape victim was cremated on Wednesday night in Balrampur, after the victim's body was forcibly cremated at night even after the family protested against the rape case of Hathras. In the same case, police say the funeral was done as per the will of the family. After the post mortem, the body was given to the family and the body was cremated at around 9.00 pm on Wednesday night.

In the same case, the administration is looking active. On Thursday morning, collector Krishna Karunesh and Superintendent of Police Devranjan Verma arrived to meet the aggrieved family and informed them to arrest two criminals and then send them to jail. On behalf of the administration, assistance of six lakh, 18 thousand, 750 rupees was provided to the family members. The superintendent of police said that the investigation of the case is being made by additional superintendent of Police AK Mishra.

The same is being searched by a team to look into other aspects. He assured the family that whoever is the offender in the case will be punished with severe punishment. On the other hand, BAHUJAN Samaj Party leader Jba Rijawan reached the home of the aggrieved family on Wednesday and met the family members. On Thursday, Samajwadi Party leader and former minister Dr SP Yadav rushed to the victim's house and took a walk. A student who was admitted to a house in the Gadadi Kotwan area of Balrampur City was gang-raped by some of the village's rioters in the house. The matter is now under investigation.
