At the same time, the Bar Council of India had suggested the university and college to give general promotion in law examinations in view of the situation of covid-19 in the country. Institutions will have to take the final decision on this. The council said that according to them it would not be right to get the exam in courses like BALB, LLB and LLM in between the transition. Therefore, general promotion should be given keeping the safety of students in mind. Later the institute conduct the examination.

Let us tell you that even if the recommendation of the Bar Council is considered, there will be an examination. Vice Chancellor of Theology National Law University Prof. Balraj Chauhan has made it clear that even if general promotion was given in a course like BALB, LLM in his institute, students will have to take the exam later. Only those who pass the examination will be admitted. Failed students will automatically return to previous classes. He said that this has been cleared in the recommendation of the Bar Council. That is, if Rani Durgavati University also gives in General Promotion Law, then students may have to take the exam in the middle session. At present, due to covid-19, every institution is waiting only to postpone the exam.
