On Saturday, a strike is being organized by three lawyers in the three districts of Uttarakhand for the past 35 years. It may sound a little strange to hear, but the lawyers of these three districts have been doing this for the last 35 years. That is, when the state of Uttarakhand was not even formed, since then the strike by the lawyers on Saturday is going on unabated. These three districts are Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar.

The Supreme Court on Friday has declared the case illegal. The Supreme Court said that every Saturday the strike of lawyers in the district courts of Uttarakhand is equal to contempt. The court issued notices to the Bar Council of India and the State Bar Council regarding this.

For your information, let us tell you that the Supreme Court reprimanded the lawyers on February 21 for calling such a joke on every working Saturday for the past 35 years and for trivial reasons like Pakistan school bombings and earthquake in Nepal. Was planted The case came to the notice of the apex court when it was hearing a petition filed against the decision of the Uttarakhand High Court. The High Court had ruled that lawyers in Dehradun and Haridwar and several parts of Udham Singh Nagar had to boycott or strike a court of law every Saturday.
