Auckland: New Zealand team all-rounder Bruce Taylor, who made his Test debut in 1965 against India, has passed away. Bruce Taylor made a sensation in his debut match as he first scored a century against India at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata and then took five wickets while bowling. He is known for this memorable match, but on Saturday 6 February this former all-rounder of the New Zealand team said goodbye to the world.

At the age of 77, Bruce Taylor said goodbye to this world. The New Zealand Cricket Board has given information on Saturday that Bruce Taylor has died. You will be surprised to know that Bruce Taylor, who scored a century while batting at number 8 while making his Test debut against India in 1965, never scored a century in first-class cricket, but in that match played in Kolkata, he hit 14 fours had scored a century with the help of 3 sixes.

When he came to bowl after playing an innings of 105 runs, he had dismissed five of India's batsmen for 86 runs. However, his batting did not come in the next innings and he returned unbeaten without playing ball, even when he did not get a chance in bowling. The match was inconclusive, but Bruce Taylor definitely got his talent ironed. After 4 years, he set the record for the fastest Test century for New Zealand, which was dismantled by Daniel Vettori after 36 years.
