Sehore: A leopard lost its life under suspicious circumstances in Sehore district on Saturday. There is also a possibility of poaching in the case. A leopard was reportedly found killed in Imli Kheda. Such information was received by the forest department after which the forest department team reached the village and took the leopard to Sehore.
Shockingly, black burn marks have also been found on the leopard's body. This has led to speculation that an attempt was made to burn the leopard after it was hunted.
Villagers disturbed by goat poaching: Goats are said to have been hunted continuously by leopards for the past few days. This is very much bothering the villagers. The body of the leopard was found in a suspicious condition on Saturday. However, the Forest Ministry is of the intention that a postmortem of the leopard has been conducted. Further inquiry will be conducted on receipt of the report.
