Liverpool has regained the top spot in the English Premier League (EPL) football competition as they beat Manchester United 4-0 with two goals from Mohamed Salah. Salah assisted Louis Diaz in the opening goal. Diaz pushed Liverpool forward in the 5th minute. After which Salah made the score 2-0 in the 22nd minute with an effort from Sadio Mane. Mane scored the third goal for the team in the 68th minute, in which Diaz also assisted him.

Mohamed Salah also scored his second goal in the 85th minute with the help of Diego Jota, who took the field in place of Diaz. With this win, Liverpool has 76 points from 32 matches and they have overtaken Manchester City to reach the top.

City has 74 points from 31 matches. Cristiano Ronaldo did not play in this match because of one of his newborn twins. Fans of both teams have expressed their sympathy towards this star striker.
