LKG and UKG classes in Banglore closed due to Corona Virus

Bangalore: In view of the havoc of the Coronavirus, the Karnataka government has decided to close all pre-KG, LKG and UKG classes in Bengaluru by the end of this month. This decision has been taken as a precaution, as this age group may be more vulnerable to coronavirus. This decision has been taken on the instruction of Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Health Commissioner of Karnataka.

Karnataka's Primary and Secondary School Education Minister S Suresh Kumar tweeted on Sunday night that, "Following the instructions from the Health Commissioner, Bangalore has been declared a holiday for Pre KG / UKG classes in North, South and Rural districts." In a letter sent to SR Umashankar, Principal Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Pandey asked for immediate closure of Pre KG, LKG and UKG classes in the city till further orders to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 virus. 

Holiday declared on Balochistan due to Holi

Cases of coronavirus are increasing in the country. On Sunday, 5 more cases have been registered, after which 39 confirmed kes of corona virus have now occurred in the country. On Sunday, samples from 5 patients in Kerala were found positive. Apart from this, a patient was also tested positive in Chennai. The Tamil Nadu man was found infected with the corona virus on Saturday.
