Low pressure area being created in Bay of Bengal will increase troubles, heavy rain alert in these states

New Delhi: Low-pressure area is forming over East Central Bay of Bengal. Which may move west northwestwards in the next 48 hours. It can also strengthen the low-pressure area and turn into depression. On the other hand, the trough line of monsoon is coming out of Jaisalmer, Satna, East Rajasthan, Ambikapur, Balasore, and then the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal on the southeast side.

The MET department (IMD) has issued an estimate of proper rainfall in many parts of north India in the coming 4-5 days. According to the MET Department (IMD), Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and adjoining states may receive heavy rain from September 16-17. While rainfall activities are expected to remain active till September 15 in several states of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and North India.

The MET department has issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rains in Odisha during the next 2-3 days. According to the department, heavy rain is likely to occur in many parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal due to the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal turning into depression.
