LS Elections 2024: PM Modi Addresses Rally in Jagtial, Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a vibrant rally in Jagtial, nestled within the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency in Telangana. The gathering was anticipated to influence the nearby Karimnagar LS constituency as well. Notably, both Nizamabad and Karimnagar were under BJP's grip in the previous Lok Sabha term. Securing four out of Telangana's 17 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 general elections, BJP aims to bolster its performance in 2024, contesting independently.

Enhancing their presence in Telangana holds strategic significance for BJP, as they endeavor to establish a stronger foothold in southern territories.

Prior to this event, Modi undertook a spirited roadshow in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency in Hyderabad and addressed a public gathering in Nagarkurnool last week.

During the Nagarkurnool rally on March 16, Modi vocalized concerns following the arrest of BRS leader K Kavitha in a money-laundering case. He alleged collusion between BRS and other "hardcore corrupt parties", underscoring his stance against corruption. Modi fervently sought the support of Telangana's populace in combating corruption. Earlier in the month, the Prime Minister participated in various developmental initiatives across Telangana.
