Ludhiana,in hardly 90 seconds, four masked men robbed Rs 15 lakh from the Jawahar Nagar camp branch of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) Ludhiana around 3.45pm on Monday.

The men covered their faces entered into the bank with Pistols. They held the cashiers at gun point, made him surrender cash worth 15 lakh and got away with the cash in 90 Sec from a Punjab National Bank, said sources.

The police scanned footage of CCTV cameras to identify the accused.

Two days after Police cracked the bank robbery and have recovered Rs 6 lakh of the booty, a pistol, five cartridges and a motorcycle from accused.

The arrested has been identified as Sukhwinder Singh, alias Moni, of Labour Colony, Jawahar Nagar Camp.

Police Rewarded Rs 2 lakh reward to the informer who provided the information about Sukhwinder.

Sukhwinder has been booked under sections 397 (robbery with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy).

According to the police, Sukhwinder’s three accomplices, who are at large, have been identified and the robbery was planned when they were together in jail.
