The Kia Carnival 2024 is going to be launched in India soon and this time this MPV will be introduced in a new and bigger avatar. The new Carnival will be more premium and spacious than before. Initially, it will be brought in limited numbers as a CBU (Completely Built Unit), as was the case with Kia's EV6 electric car.

Features of the new Carnival

The new Kia Carnival will have many new and great features. This will include a large digital instrument cluster and a new touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, this MPV will also have features like double sunroof, multiple seating options and heads-up display. In the Indian market, its top-end variant is expected to get a captain seat layout, which will also provide great comfort to the rear occupants.

Special features for a comfortable journey

The new Carnival will also get features like three-zone climate control and ventilation for rear seats, which will give the passengers a comfortable travel experience. Apart from this, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology is also likely to be available in it, which will make driving even safer.

Engine and price

In the international market, the new Carnival comes with several engine options, but in India it can be offered with a diesel engine initially. The new Carnival will be imported and its price can be around Rs 50 lakh.

Competition in the market

The Kia Carnival is a luxury MPV and has no direct rivals in terms of its price. However, coming as a CBU, it may be priced higher than the previous model. It may compete with the Toyota Innova Hycross, which is priced between Rs 18.92 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh, ex-showroom.

future plans

Kia is also planning to launch its EV9 electric luxury SUV in India in the near future, expanding its premium space even further. More details about the new Carnival will be known as the launch date approaches.
