Bhopal: A groom in the tribal-dominated Alirajpur district of MP tied the knot with his three girlfriends by taking seven vows with three girlfriends as per tribal customs. He married his three girlfriends in the presence of six children. The name of the groom who did this is Samarath Maurya. He was also a former sarpanch of Nanpur area. Groom Samarth Maurya and his children are very happy with the marriage. They also danced fiercely at the wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, locals also came to the wedding ceremony. The wedding invitation card also had the name of the groom along with the names of his three girlfriends. The groom says that he was poor 15 years ago so he could not get married so now he is.

In fact, 15 years ago, Samarath Maurya fell in love with three young women. He took turns to drive the three of them home and kept them all three like a wife. Not only this, the tribal Bhilala community is fully allowed to live in a live-in and have children, but unless married by law, such people are not allowed to participate in the Manglik functions of the society. So after having 15 years and 6 children, Samarath Maurya has married his three girlfriends.

People in the society say that now the groom and his three brides will be allowed to participate in Manglik works. Article  342 of the Indian Constitution protects tribal customs and specific social traditions, so according to this article, Samarath Maurya's marriage to three brides at the same time will not be considered illegal.
