Madhya Pradesh: Two arrested after 10-year-old boy found chained to a bench in madrasa

Bhopal : A case of mistreating two minor children has come to light in a private madrasa in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Police have arrested two people including the manager in the case. Police have said that the accused tied two children to a madrasa with chains. On receipt of the information, the police reached the spot and rescued the children from the clutches of the accused.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanjay Sahu has told that, he was informed that the madrasa management is misbehaving with two children. The Childline Service approached the Ashoka Garden Police regarding this. Following this, the police registered a case under sections 75 and 85 of the Juvenile Justice Act in the case. Sahu said that two people of the madrasa management have been arrested for misbehaving with the students.

The ASP has reported that Mohammed Saad and Salman, arrested, will be produced in court. Another police officer has reported that the minor children attempted to escape from the madrasa. As a punishment for this, the management tied him to the chain. The management of the madrasa said that the two students had earlier tried to run away from the madrasa, so they were tied up.
