Bhopal: Everyone is facing financial crisis due to Corona lockdown. The same situation is for migrant laborers, workers are worried about employment. The state governments are constantly making efforts for migrant workers. After the employment campaign of UP, now Madhya Pradesh is going to set up Madhya Pradesh State Migrant Workers Commission to get the migrant laborers according to their merit and to implement their development works. Under this commission, the migrant laborers will be able to provide employment resources and formulate an action plan for determining the welfare schemes of their families.

The objective of Madhya Pradesh government is to create employment with the solution of the livelihood problem of migrant laborers from far-flung areas through this commission. The chairman of this commission with a tenure of two years will be nominated by the state government. Two of its members will be nominated by the state. The State Government shall determine the duties and objectives of the Commission. The Commission will have to submit necessary recommendations to strengthen the social and economic status of migrant workers during their tenure. This commission constituted by the Department of Labor will make necessary consultation with the members, individuals, organizations, departments, mandals etc. and thereafter give its recommendations to the state government.

However, following this, the state government is going to produce schemes ranging from employment to welfare for migrant workers. Its work area will be complete in Madhya Pradesh. In this, it is mandatory for the laborer to be a native of the state for eligibility. It is mandatory for them to return to Madhya Pradesh on or after March 1, 2020. These workers will be given benefits in various schemes of state government.
