Bhopal: People fed up of electricity bills in Madhya Pradesh have now got the support of the opposition. Congress today demonstrated in front of the electricity office with customers about the rising electricity bill. In which former Minister PC Sharma was also present. PC Sharma along with electricity consumers shouted slogans against the government.

Consumers allege that only one bulb burns in their house, but still, an electricity bill of 18 thousand has come. There are many consumers who showed bills of up to one lakh to the officials. PC Sharma told the media that even after filling the electricity bill every month, people are troubled by the excessive bill amount. The officials of the electricity distribution company in Raisen have taken a different attitude against those who did not submit the bill. Those who are not depositing bills, the electricity distribution company is taking action on them.

According to the information received MPEB seized motorcycles and tractors of many people by forming a team. On electricity consumer Bhagwan Das's son Thamman Singh, his bike has been confiscated due to arrears of 87,224 bills. Chand Khan, his tractor has been confiscated due to arrears of Rs 50,836.
