Bhopal: The shadow crisis on the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh is becoming more serious. Despite the explicit instructions of Governor Lalji Tandon, on Monday, March 16, 2020, the 'floor test' could not be held on the first day of the budget session. Angered by this disregard, the Governor wrote a second letter to the Chief Minister warning that by March 17 (Tuesday) to prove majority by conducting floor test in the Assembly, otherwise it will be assumed that you do not actually have majority in the Assembly. After this, Chief Minister Kamal Nath once again met Governor Lalji Tandon. He said that I met the Governor and discussed the current political situation. I thanked him for today's address. I said that we are ready to do things according to the constitution, but we cannot go out of it.

According to the information received, the BJP has brought a no-confidence motion. Till date, I have numbers. If someone says that Congress does not have the numbers, then it can bring a no-confidence motion. Why do I have to take a floor test? What was the problem with the 16 MLAs? They should come before you and put forth their views.

Hearing in the Supreme Court today: It has also been learned that the BJP's plea for floor test in Madhya Pradesh will be heard in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Justice D. Y. Bench of Chandrachud and Justice Hemant Gupta will be heard.

Governor again wrote a letter to Kamal Nath: where the Governor of Madhya Pradesh Laji Tandon has written a letter to CM Kamal Nath asking him to get a floor test done by March 17. The governor said that if voting on the trust vote is not done by March 17, it would be assumed that the Kamal Nath government does not have a majority.

Kamal Nath's government in the minority, lost majority: For information, let us tell that the government did not follow the instructions of the Governor. This government became Ranchoddas. Today we met the Governor along with 106 BJP MLAs and requested that we have majority. I want to ask whether the government which is minority, has the right to decide? Kamal Nath's government is in a minority, having lost a majority. Therefore, His Excellency the Governor had instructed the government to conduct floor tests today. But the Chief Minister is escaping because he knows that his government is in the minority.
