Mumbai: The scourge of corona infection in Maharashtra is now diminishing. The number of new positive cases remained low last Wednesday as well. A total of 34,31 new patients were found last Wednesday. The number of recoverers is much higher than the new positive case, 51,457, which is a shocking and pleasing figure. Meanwhile, the death toll is 594, which is very sad, but it is a matter of happiness that the figure is not crossing 800-900 as before. Let me tell you that at present, the rate of corona recovery in the State has gone up to 91.06 per cent and so far 49 lakh 78 thousand 937 people have beaten Corona.

The state government has floated a global tender for the vaccine demanding 5 crore vaccines. The last date for filing tenders is May 25. In this case, recognition needs to be obtained by the Centre.
