Mumbai: Cases of corona infection have been on the rise in Maharashtra for a long time but now there has been relief news. In fact, the total number of infected people has increased to 65,00,617 in the last 24 hours after 2,740 new cases have been reported here. At the same time, the death toll is said to have gone up to 1,38,169 after the death of 27 patients. A health officer has recently informed about this.

The state is said to have reported the lowest number of infections in a day since February 9, while the lowest number of patients died in a day since March 8. On 9th February, 2,515 new cases of infection were reported in Maharashtra as compared to 22 deaths on 8th March. This has seen a major decline in cases of infection and death as compared to last Sunday. Last Sunday, 3,623 cases of infection were reported and 46 patients died.

The number of people recovering from the infection is said to have been higher than the new infected. Let us also inform all of you that in the last 24 hours, 3,233 people have recovered in the State, after which the total number of people who have recovered has gone up to 63,09,021. The number of patients currently undergoing treatment is said to be 49,880.
