Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has said that the people of the state do not need to panic from the condition of coronavirus. He said that people should be alert because the next eight days are very important. Thackeray said in the assembly that the state government is taking necessary steps to prevent the coronavirus epidemic.

In Maharashtra, since January, out of 167 passengers who were kept separate after checking at Mumbai airport, only nine people are in separate wards. No cases of virus infection have been confirmed in the state. Appealing to people to avoid going to crowded places and celebrating Holi in a limited manner, Thackeray said, "I pray that the coronavirus is burnt in the fire of Holi." Uddhav said, I want to tell people that the coming eight days are very important and we have to be alert.

He said that we need to deal with this problem without fear and fear, if we get scared then we can make mistakes.
