Amravati: Amid agitation against new agricultural laws brought by the central government, painful news has come out from Amravati in Maharashtra. Two people from an orange-producing farmer family died here. First elder brother Ashok Bhuyar committed suicide and suffered a heart attack when the younger brother was returning from the funeral.

Before self-immolation, Ashok Bhuyar also wrote a letter to Bachu Kadu, a minister in the state government, asking for help. Bachu Kadu is the Minister of State for Education in the Government of Maharashtra, who is counted as the biggest farmer leader of the region. Recently, Bachu came to Delhi to join the Kadu farmer movement. The farmer has written in his letter that the merchant who had bid for the orange refused to take the goods at the last moment. When the farmer asked the question, he first gave him liquor and then beat it fiercely.

Farmer Ashok Bhuyar complained about this matter. The family says that when the farmer went to the police station to complain, the police station also smacked him, after which the farmer committed suicide. However, in the meantime wrote a letter to the minister. After this suicide, the villagers and their families created a lot of uproar in the police station. Action has been demanded on the SHO and Beat Jamadar.
