Pune: The number of coronavirus patients is increasing continuously around Bhawani Peth in Pune district of Maharashtra. This area is included in the city's hottest hotspots. In such a situation, the Azam College of Education here has converted the hall of the mosque inside its campus to a quarantine center so that people can be quarantined here when needed.

The institute has talked about providing all facilities to the people along with the quarantine center. The administration reviewed the quarantine center being built here and after that they agreed. 80 people can be quarantined simultaneously in this 9,000 square feet hall within the Azam Mosque. President of Azam College of Education, Dr. PA Inamdar said that we have made arrangements in the hall of the mosque for at least 80 suspected Corona patients. These days the Namaz in the mosque is closed and its hall is empty, the government can use it. We will also provide facilities to the people on behalf of the institute.

There are already fans, lights and toilets inside the mosque. After cleaning the hall, beds have been put there. Dr. Inamdar said that although food is usually provided by the authorities. But we are also ready to give breakfast and both time meals to the patients. Being an education complex, people will also be able to provide books to read here, so that they can use the free time to read books.
