Mumbai: Rain has once again created havoc in Maharashtra. In fact, there is stormy rain everywhere. According to the information received, Chiplun received more than 18 hours of rain continuously. A warning has been issued to the residents of the Vashishti river and Shivnadi bank. People stayed up all night and cut it because of the rain. On the other hand, the Vashishti river is said to be flowing parallel to the bridge road.

Many parts of the city are currently flooded. The rain has been stalled for two hours now but due to a flood-like situation, 25 jawans of the NDRF team have taken 4 boats and reached Chiplun. Similar is the case with Dapoli of Ratnagiri in the Konkan region. It rained at night as if the cloud had burst. Dapoli Bazaar, Kelskar Naka, Tehsil's office were reportedly flooded. This is said to be the first time in the history of Dapoli that such rain has occurred. Above all, heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in many parts of the state for the next two to three days.

In fact, a low-pressure area has been created in the Bay of Bengal and its direction is west, northwest and it is going to affect entire Maharashtra. The MET department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall till tomorrow (September 8) especially for Ratnagiri. Collector of Ratnagiri district BN Patil has also advised people to move to safer places along the seashore. According to reports, heavy rain has also been predicted in Mumbai and Thane for the next two days.
