Jalgaon: A case has been filed against two persons from Jalgaon district for selling around one lakh litres of Kerosene in market.

The convicts identified as Rajesh and Mruntyunjay Upadhyay, had government permit to sell Kerosene in Varangaon and nearby areas.

According to API, Varangaon police station Dilip Gangurde, "They availed kerosene worth Rs 48 lakh. Instead of supplying it to the beneficiaries, they sold it in black market from January 2012 till December 2013".

A case has been registered in this matter, following a complaint by the District Supply Officer Ravindra Jadhav and an investigation is underway.
